|I went over to a State garden that has Camellia TREES. Many of them where planted back in the early 1920's
Here is the first one I need ID

|A list of Camellias which grow in Florida..
I'd call it a sem-double.
Lady Clare ..
Unless there's another very similar or Lady Clare wasn't around that long ago it looks good, it is a vigorous grower so it needn't have been there that long.
It grows to tree proportions..
Prolific and early to flower..
this camellia japonica starts blooming Thanksgiving Day or early December

|Thanks I checked and it is old enough.
There has been no camellias planted in the gardens for over 50 years.
