~ Edited to say this plant is Star Jasmine (Jasminum laurifolium var. laurifolium)

This is a plant at my new house and I keep wanting to say it's Serissa foetida but I'm not sure. These aren't the greatest photo's, they were taken quickly on my way out this morning but I'm hoping it will be an easy identify. I will try to get a picture of the entire little shrub and clearer shots of foliage and bloom in the next day or two. I just looked at these and notice thrips or some little bugs on them ... need to check that out further too.

Thanks Janet, That indeed looks like the plant in my yard. I didn't notice any fragrance to the flowers but I really didn't think to smell them ... I will check it out tomorrow!

Apparently J. pubescens is a synonym for J. multiflorum: http://www.floridata.com/ref/j... and it's not as fragrant as other jasmines. It looks identical and the description sure fits my plant so I'm going to mark this as closed. Thanks so much Super Sleuth Janet! Green Grin!

You're welcome Lin. Green Grin!

There was a few names on Top Tropicals, I hadn't checked them out but the RHS has it as Jasminum multiflorum, common name Many-flowered Jasmine! That looks true by the number of flowers making! There's a few more common names on Top Tropicals.

Thanks for the link to the RHS site, I forgot to check that one. Yes, Jasminum multiflorum is the correct name. The ITIS (Integrated Taxonomic Information System) site also states that J. multiflorum is the accepted name.

Other common names, Star Jasmine and Downy Jasmine: http://www.floridata.com/ref/j...
