Yes !-the dreaded 2 year syndrome..Luckily, this will be year number 4 in bloom for me, but hav'nt i lost a lot of other species bulbs in that time[just another excuse to buy more seeds]
Oh, sounds like the two year syndrome doesn't it! I actually had mine in a pot the first year in a greenhouse (not hot!) which I forgot about so I got three years! I'm sure I saw the beginnings of leaves this year but they disappeared.
