As you can see they are huge and green compared to the ones on the left that have not liked our hot, cold, hot, freezing, hot, freezing, cold, hot winter we have had.

The frost cloth makes a big difference. I wish I would have had my camera to show you the way he does it. Basically he has a wooden frame around the potted daylilies which is build the length of the shade house (probably a good 100' or more each row) and the frost cloth is draped over the frame. There are 1x1s attached at intervals to the cloth so it stays in place and doesn't get blown off.
