Have a slug problem? Encourage Garter Snakes (Thamnophis ordinoides) to live in your garden. One of their favorite foods is slugs.

I was just holding it and looking at it. Rubber Boas are very docile, they don't even try to bite. It was very beautiful.
It did coil around my arm and seemed content to stay there until I put it back under the log. Smiling

With my luck, if I did that, I'd be grabbing a rattler or copperhead or something.

Speaking of which, did I ever tell you guys about the rattler I found in my apt? Maybe I should blog about that one
