I was interested in collecting the planet series heuchera. I have found Venus and can order Mars. Any of you have sources for Mercury, Neptune and Saturn?
Maybe the others were week and discountinued?

Eminence Meadows sells Mercury, but I'm sure he is done shipping out till next spring. And Neptune is on ebay from Hirt's Gardens I can't say I know anything about them. If I see Saturn I'll let you know.

I've got a bunch of those including Saturn. If you can't find it maybe mine will be big enough to divide this spring.

I have never ordered from E-bay or Hirt's. Eminence medows is a great source and I was thinking they had Mars not Mercury. Well thats what happens when you don't write things down. Chris, I may take you up on that offer, I'm sure there is somthing around here you might want! Do you like them?

I've gotten some very good deals on e-bay, but I looked up Hirt's Gardens on the garden watchdog and reviews are not that good.

They haven't been super vigorous for me. Very slow growing. But when I ordered them I received very small plants. I've had them two years now and really expected more growth though. But they are nice colors.

I never tried any of these . The only place I ever saw them for sale was Walmart and they never looked very good. Venus seems to have some decent comments about it, but the others you hardly ever hear about or see in garden centers so I figured something must be wrong.

You may be right! I'm not a big box store plant shopper so maybe why I have never seen them much but they were introduced around 2003. I shop Target for household stuff and they don't have plants. I do check Fred Meyer, not sure if you have them back East. Maybe I will get lucky and they will show up in a co-op or Chris and I will work a trade. I will keep my eyes open!

I was wondering where you bought yours. It's funny how plants come on the market then in a few years disappear. Chris do you have any pictures? The data base could use pictures of these guys and I would love to see what they really look like. The pictures on the nursury sites and such sure do enhance the colors.

As soon as I can find some time I'll look through my pictures and see. Might not be til after Christmas though.
