I met lots of these in the rainforest growing on trees or trunks, close to a river. (Paraty-Brazil) the Bromeliaceae is a gigantic family, maybe it won't be possible to bring to specie level, but I'd like to try anyway Rolling my eyes.

It all seems to match, even the yellow flower! I check others listed there and they are very different. The leaves look broader on some but that may be due to location.
