I think the issue is that she doesn't have enough photographs to go with the tips. She'll explain once she arrives at this thread.

Ok..sounds reasonable, but I know I submitted a few with photos that have not been used yet. (at least I don't think they have) Guess I just figured they were somehow automatically taken care of like the random pics. But then again I really don't know what I'm talking about...DUH...sometimes the beast is my friend..sometimes not. I can NOT imagine the work/details that go into running a FANTASTIC site like this. Just curious...ya'll have very full plates. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Group hug Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

I've been trying to use the non gardening specific tips for the winter. After all, a great tip for aphids isn't going to help me very much in Dec, and I'll just have to remember it until June! Green Grin! Those are harder to come by, though....so I think we'll just have to use our bookmarks!

Sorry for the inconvenience. The Boss did tell me that I had to get on the ball or he was taking over! Blinking Whistling Big Grin

Trish, anyone with indoor plants needs tips for controlling aphids more in Dec than in summer. Once those things get in indoor plants it's awful. I'm all ears!

AND that's why we have stars so that we can star things we need to remember. Trish, tell the boss (sweetly request Angel ) to get busy with a program to allow us to organize our starred items into categories. Hmmmmmm??????

I'm a plant fanatic and often have free time. I love to fertilize my plants and if I have one which is special to me I give it special treatment. I take a gallon milk jug and poke a tiny hole in the bottom near one side and place it near the plant. I mix my favorite water soluble fertilizer such as Miracle Grow or Fish Emulsion and fill the gallon bottle ..The fertilizer leaks out of the tiny hole and deeply into the root zone....that's where I want it to be, not running off the surface,

That is a great tip. I think you should submit it to Trish, and it will get posted on the Home Page someday, so everyone can see it.

So can we still submit tips? can anyone submit them? If so, maybe a 'reminder tip' is in order, letting folks know or reminding them they can still submit tips to Trish?

Yes, anyone can still submit tips. And if you have the photo to go with the tip it's even better!

See, Trish? I TOLD you it would be a good idea to put a little box with "How to Submit Tips" information on the Tips first page. Green Grin! Er, would that be a tip? Hilarious!
