Hello to all,
I'm looking at Cosmic Odyssey and Russian Temple with the thought of maybe buying them. I looked up both on the AHS Parent option. Cosmic Odyssey has 8 babies but Russian Temple doesn't show anything. Has anyone grown, crossed, or had any problems with these two.

Looks like we may get some rain tomorrow. It was in the 70's here today and it's about 60 now. It's just amazing how darned cold it can be one day and the next we need to raise the windows to let in some cool air. My poor plants don't know what to do.

Blessings to all, Mona

Mona Looking at the parents of Russian Temple I would think it has some good genes in it. (Moment in the Sun X Awesome Blossom), X (Moments Of Intrige X Daring Dilemma) X Cherry Valentine. All proven in other crosses.
I don't think I would hesitate too much on it and it sure is a nice bloom with a beautiful pattern and edge..

Hey Mona,

I grow Cosmic Odyssey and it grows great here. I didn't use it because at the time it didn't go with what I was doing. I will be using it this next season though. James Townsend has some great starting bids on the clumps for both of those.

I have also grown Cosmic Odyssey without any problem. I never used it because I used Butterfly Cove which came out the same year along with Blue Mountians.

Fred, that's a beautiful seedling. I'm wanting to just tiptoe into the etched eyes. I find them very intriguing and I have several plants that I just know they would be beautiful on.

Thanks Michele and Stephanie. I really like the looks of Russian Temple, seeing that it has the orange look to me and I'm head over heals in love with orange this year. Yes, James T. is the one that I'm looking at. I love buying a clump when possible and thought these 2 might be a good investment.

Thanks to all and blessings, Mona

Here's a picture that I took of RUSSIAN TEMPLE when I was at Maryott's this summer. It was cool and drizzly that day, so the flower was pretty wet and probably not as orange as in warmer weather.
