I don't think Northwest sells retail Sad Now that we've got you all excited, Tee. But they do have a list of their retailers.

I emailed mamajack. She was diffident about contacting anyone directly without an invitation to do so, thought it would be inappropriate (well, the word she used was "tacky"--she is really sensitive about sales etiquette and overstepping those boundaries. LOL). She does have several kinds of Hellebores and will be getting me a list. I will post it here, then anyone who might be interested can treemail or cmail her to talk about it with her. Or you don't need wait for me, go ahead and write straight to her. Is that okee with youse guys? Smiling

I got the same impression PollyK, the closest retailer to me is one hundred miles away. Grumbling
How ever I remember a retailer in my area usually has a big sale on Hellebores in November, guess I missed it. Crying Oh well I guess I can check with mamajack in spring, I hear she has some really nice plants. I think I will start watching her thread and whenever she makes a post I will know about it. Hurray!

Mama has or had 'Pink Frost' , 'Spring Party', and the 'Winter Thrillers' series- at least, that's what I got from her. There were others.

If you're afraid of contacting her too soon, don't - she's great about holding stuff until a good time to ship. Sometimes she'll need a reminder Green Grin! .

Northwest doubles are sold thru retailers of Terra Nova Nurseries. It can get confusing. I've gotten most of mine thru Well-Sweep herb Farm.

I saw one of Terra Nova's new introductions in Horticulture magazine (Nov/Dec) ... a Heucherella I really want ... 'Solar Eclipse' Lovey dubby I bought about 8 Heuchs and Tiarellas last year and thought, well, that should be sufficient. However, they are a bit like potato chips ... bet you can't eat just one ... or 8 for that matter. Rolling on the floor laughing

I do order a lot from one of the Terra Nova outlets -- Sunlight Gardens -- here in TN but they are too far to drive. I hope they will have 'Solar Eclipse' soon. Green Grin!

I'm still planting here ... planted yesterday. Who would of thought that on Christmas Day??? This morning we have freezing temps and hard frost but the ground is nowhere near frozen.

That Solar Eclipse is lovely.

We've planted here up to New Years Eve before, but that was a real rarity. No snow here yet, but we average around 200 inches, so it will be coming.

edited for horrible spelling.

Thanks, Sheryl. It seems the hurrier I go, the behinder I'm getting. I'm going to contact her soon (I hope). They seem to be becoming more of a priority.

Are you thinking about a Hellebore co-op next year?
