A few years ago I worked part time for seed_sprout nursery here in Fountain. Brenda was given some amaryllis bulbs that were crossed and grown by another hybridizer's daughter (?) to grow. The child was only about 8, but wanted to do what Mom was doing Angel Brenda gave me one to grow. It bloomed for the first time in 2010. I think it's really pretty. Need to call Brenda and see if she knows was it ever released....in the mean time I'll call it NOID Brianna (little girl's name)

Beautiful Ginger but you need not worry as to whether Amaryllis crosses are released or not.The registration process is too expensive and time consuming for anyone but commercial companies to use.
They don't follow the same process we brug people do.
In the past some folks have given their crosses a name preceded by their name to let people know it is not commercially registered.I'm thinking of some like "Mr.Hughes" and some of Liz's crosses on which she uses a number along with her name....I think.
