Not sure how long. We are starting on getting the house ready to list in May. My BF lost his
job and its getting tight . So we are going to RI & his family . We are looking at a house now
but,I want to get the yard ready. I will have a green house to put all the plants in when we get
there.:hurray:

Some of my plants are getting good at moving LOL.. I have two 20 + yr old roses that this will be
their 5 th trip and hopefully last. And my daylilies know what a Walmart bag is Whistling

My main problem plant is a Brown Turkey fig that is 9' tall I might have to leave that behind :(
I know my older iris will be OK..they are Great plants I Love iris they just go with the flow

If it's just going to be a short time, I wouldn't even pot them up. Leave a little dirt attached when digging. if it's going to be a few weeks I'd cram them all together in a bin with dirt. If it's going to be months, as Sue said, LOL.

Congrats on the greenhouse!!!!

Blue J (or any bearded iris grower, really) won't ship them to you until July or August, so you might be able to just have them sent directly to your new place.

Wow, great prices at Blue Js
I haven't ordered either but have my shopping cart going lol. I have more time than money so an extra yr to bloom would be ok.

On the fig take a cutting and if you can get a couple of willow cuttings to put in the water with the Fig many times I have taken them and they grow in the water then put in 3 gallon pot and when about 5' tall plant them out in the spring

Thanks Dee.. I started about 6 or 8 baby figs this year. The big Fig is really important to me
I is a baby of my X-father in law's fig tree. He was a very nice man and I just hate leaving "Figburt"
behind. But, we still might try to move it now that I have some babies just in case it does not
make the move. My furture brother in law is a arborist hopefully I can convince him to pull it up Smiling

Teresa, you'll earn an acorn each time you add your first picture of a flower, or leaves, or an entire plant for each cultivar. And there are other ways to earn acorns too. Then you can use your acorns to "buy" special deals that Dave and Trish come up with. Their first was an All Things Plants T-Shirt and Coffee Mug for 100 acorns, which was only offered for a short time (like two or three weeks), so you might want to start adding pictures to the database and building your stash so you can take advantage of the next one!

Hey Theresa,

Did you know you can put the link to your daylily sales where you have your name, and then it will always be there? Like mine is.

Have we overwhelmed you here yet? LOL.
