Gentians.
Found these growing wild in the back forty....now I'm convinced that I "need" some in my flower beds as well.
Soooo...I collected some seeds of these....
Bottle or Closed Gentian.
They had a lot more seeds in a pod than I thought....so...Cottage Garden members - if you'd like some tree-mail me through January and I'll send you some. They are fall bloomers here
and probably need a cold period to germinate.
I'm also starting some other Gentians...more later;-)
