What is "Notes" for?

Dave, Notes is for other information about a cultivar, which does not warrant a specific field because it occurs infrequently. Like description of fragrance, historical information, 'sport of', etc.

Is that not what the comments field is for?

I think the data belongs within the Tulips section.
They are not comments on a tulip. They are facts from The Netherlands Bulb Institute.

Under awards, the first 2 do not require check boxes. They are for information only. So people will know what the abbreviations below them stand for.

so yes it is ok to remove them because they were not valid to check off.

Please put this there at the beginning of the awards to explain the meaning of the abbreviations before each award.

Yes, the first 2 lines were not to have checkboxes, and they can be removed entirely.

Sorry, it was my mistake, originally, as I did not describe them properly.

They were meant to be informational only, but they can just be deleted.
