Which fields are in question, Dave? Is it the bloom periods and scented and height?

Divisions is good.
Color (both perianth and corona) are good.
Category: Historical is good.
Hybridizer is good
Year hybridized is good
Country of Origin is good (but will be replaced at some point in the future. We can deal with that later.)
Awards is good.

Category: Scented is redundant with Primary.
Bloom season and Height are both redundant with primary.

For bloom season and scented, those are easily handled in the primary details.

The height in primary is simply a text field where you type in whatever you want. We can add a custom "Daffodil Height" which has those three checkboxes, since they are so specific. That will help with searches for daffodils.

Let me know what you want to do (and please edit your post with any changes)

I edited the post to remove the scented category and the place to enter height, leaving the three checkboxes for daffodil heights.
I don't think the existing descriptions for bloom times will accurately handle the very specific bloom times for Daffodils.
Here are the Daffodil bloom times:

Very Early
Early to Mid
Mid
Mid to Late
Late
Very Late
Fall or Autumn

There are 6 Daffodil bloom times within the Spring season, and they are very specific. They will be necessary when searching for Daffodils on the database.
Those clearly defined seasons are included in catalogs, when people are choosing Daffodils to purchase, and on the American Daffodil Society website, so I think we need them.

The existing bloom categories are too broad and do not break down Spring, which is the Daffodils' season, this way.

I contacted Daffodil Seek (ADS) and they say we can use a link to Daffodils in their Daffodil database, like it has been done for daylilies in our ATP Daylily database.

Can we add a field for ADS link?

We can certainly do that, but we'll need information to make it happen.

If the ADS could give us a spreadsheet or something that contains for each cultivar, the cultivar name as well as the link to the plant in their database, I can put those links into the database. The added benefit would also be that I can then add whatever cultivars are currently missing from our database.

This would be a win-win because they get links to their site and extra visitors from those links, and we get more up to date list of cultivars.

FYI : There are 22,300 daffodils on their site.

We have 734 daffodils in our DB, so getting their complete list would be good for us and for them.

I have emailed her just now.

If they don't provide us with that, then we keep doing what we're doing without a link back to their db.

But what we're asking is likely a technical challenge for them so I expect they must be doing some research on how to accomplish this. That's just a guess.
