I love the LC Bonanza Queen 'Panamint' - gorgeous floof!

Gone Tropical - my Rhyncholaelia digbyana also usually blooms in late Spring/early Summer here in NJ. The hybrid I posted above seems to be differently timed and I have a feeling it also might be easier to bloom than the digbyana species.

My digbyana always blooms in May here in Florida.

I took all of the blankets off of the tropicals this afternoon. Big job. I didn't notice much damage.

It's a great year for the Spathoglottis plicata. I have three different colors going now.

The Spathoglottis look great!
I hope my Brassavola David Sander ever blooms that nice! Mine was blooming this Summer for the first time while we were on vacation, I was treated to a spent bloom on our return.

Hello everyone.
I pop in this time every year to gush over everyones blooms.
DD keeps a few paths and a cymbideum she has had for ages.
I have known this cymbid. orchid for 4 years and was blown away the first year it put out a bloom spike. The plant resides in my part of the house for the winter and in the garden the rest of the year.
I launched a campaighn to see more than one spike and have been disapointed for the last 3 years.
Finally there are 2 bloom spikes I am stoaked. This plant gets no fert, only water that summer sends. What a reward.I will photo when its blooming.
I admire everyones skill with these plants and count myself lucky to get a reward for the abuseours gets here.
The paths do fine under DD's care.
