Dave, do we have a new field in our profile(misc proposals) or did I miss it before?
Thanks!

I never noticed it either. What's a miscellaneous proposal?

It has always been on the home page. If you're just noticing it, then you probably just started submitting proposals that aren't database proposals. If you add a new plant to the database, for instance, or if you edit the name of a plant, those are miscellaneous proposals.

The field is on our profile now. I don't see it on the Homepage.

That's what I meant. I think of the profile page as my home page. Sorry.

Okay, I lied. I'm sorry. It was never on the profile page. It was in the database "stats." I look at those a lot, so it didn't seem new to me, but you're right. It's new.

Sure is new!
Dave mentioned that many do lots of misc. proposals without getting acorn credit so this is nice to see how many are working in the database. Thumbs up

Yeah, it's new. I was looking at some stats and I wanted to see how many misc proposals had been done by a certain person so I added that in.

The miscellaneous proposals include all proposals other than databox proposals. So adding a plant is a misc proposal, editing a plant's name, moving an image from one plant to another, deleting a plant, things like that.

They are important tasks in the database.

Dave, could you make it so that we can click on the db proposals we've made just like we can for the photos & comments where we can bring them up?

No, there is no visible record of those proposals. They come in and when they are approved, the action is taken and the proposal is no longer recorded in a visible place.

In a pinch I could pull out past proposals and look at them, but it would be a very rough log and not something that would be properly visible on the site.

Okay. Thanks. I asked because sometimes I will do the db proposal for a plant I am interested in having & when I find it isn't in the db I add it. So that would have been a way for me to access my "list" so to speak. But I understand what you're saying so no problem. Thumbs up

You can indeed see the list of plants that you've added by clicking on that.

Oh yes, I understand I can click on the plants I've added but I was talking about the db proposals as I'm sure you understood. Some times I do a db proposal for a plant which has no images in the db yet & I don't HAVE the plant so can not add images. So what I do instead is star the plant but then when i want to ref. it I still have to go to another site to find images to look at.
Hey, eventually & most likely SOON -- there will be images for ALL the plants in the db as well as data. Right?!

I believe. Green Grin!
