Apparently this parasite fly is just recently making the news and all of the information is pretty much the same.

This article makes sense to me! I've been avoiding the high fructose corn syrup myself and I think it's helping my health. And if it helps humans to avoid it, it would be even more important for bees.

Corn syrup simply does not have the nutritional benefits that honey does. If it did people would be using it like some of us use honey.

Robbing bees of all of their honey is simply dumb. That greed costs the beekeepers in lost hives at the expense of hard working honey bees.

We're starting to get a bit more things blooming and as spring revs up, the bees will be on their own their own soon. My plum tree is starting to bloom now, for one thing! Hurray!
