I'm most interested in Clematis 'Tie Dye', 'Richard Pennell', 'Cassis', 'Asao', 'Mamori', and 'Fleuri' out of that group. Not all of them but maybe three or four.
I garden for the pollinators.

thanks so much for info on raspberry I have grown all kinds back home when i was a kid but we did not separate any of them but its good to know. I an 99% SURE THAT ALL THE PLANTS ARE DORM IT WHEN SHIPPED. I will call tomorrow for a confirmation on this. As for asparagus I am Very familure on this. I have grown 4 different verietys. When i was a kid it took us 3 years to get it wright our patch was about 1 acre . It is best to plant 2 year old plants due to 3 yr old go to shock more then 2 yo and they will take root and produce about the same in the second year in your garden. Now it is recommended that the first year you cut nothing and let the roots get settled and allow them to grow and store more energy for the 2nd year harvest. the 2nd year in your garden you can harvest a few spears over a 2-3 week period. and stop. third week harvest 4-6 weeks and 4th week harvest 6-8 weeks till spears are smaller then a pencil at that point you do damage to the roots. I will see if i can get 2 yr old roots from another supplier its what i prefer but the cost of these 1 yr seem to good to pass up. i have planted about 35 last year and they where 2 yr old but cost good $.
I had listed Mary Washington for a few reasons 1-great good rust and fusarium tolerance. They also produce seeds for further raising your own babies to replace roots that dont make it. and the Jersey knight male hybrids put all there energy in to producing spears not seeds and is also more Fusarium resistant.

I will edit first post with names and pics of a few you have called for just remember its a rough draft that can and will change for a while till we get a consensus on types.

great reponce so far thanks

You're right Mike on the 3 year old roots, I pulled my tags and checked they were 2, don't know where I got they were 3. Oh well! anyway I knew the rest but some may not know. We like using pine needles or straw for mulching them, we also add a good amount of compost for the roots, they need to get established the first year and around here that seems to helps. Red hard clay and bedrock are the pits to grow anything in.

I've never grown raspberries before, so what I said up above is what I got off the internet. Now blackberries and gooseberries are abundant around here, so I do know how to do those. lol

that is very hard to grow in i was lucky at home in IL we had great soil but used compost a lot to we never had to winterize we just left the big ferns to be a natural snow fence and then mowed it in the early spring to get ready for sprouts witch if i remember right about mothers day we had them popping up good.

I have got pics loaded for glads and clematis and links if you think you want some "like" the pic of the ones you want and ill take a few away now and then to get our list down,

glads are in 75 or 100 ct
clematis are packed 10 per case

i will try to do Lillis and a few more soon it takes a while so it will take a few days to do all of then

So are you saying we need to purchase 10 of one cultivar (as a group) to get that particular plant?

I have Lime Aide ... it's a beautiful EE and I highly recommend it. I would purchase some or all of these: 'Mojito', 'Nancy's Revenge', 'Jack's Giant', 'Illustris' and the one with the pink stems that I can't remember the name at the moment. Just sayin'. Green Grin!

I still can't find anyplace to "like" the pictures of the clematis. I guess maybe you have to have an account to access it?

Yes Woofie, you have to sign up for a Google account. No info is exchanged except your name and email and your birthdate. Then you go back and you can access the pics and hit the like button on the bottom left. You don't have to have google as you home page and you do not have to download anything, say no to those unless you want it. I had to go all the way through and just click what I wanted.

yes on the 10 of each kind as a group on clematis but i think that is decent and think it is obtainable. I dont know if you need an account to LIKE a pic its not hard to sign up and it is free OR you can just name them here but is just easier for everyone to be able to just like the pic so we all see what is moving and what will most likely be cut.

the tiny tots are not listed yet will do those soon they are to 100 per case.

i think i can get a few kinds of Elephants Ears - Colocasia...dont know off hand which ones but will post soon i know there are a few kinds. .....So far only boring reg green and upright (odora) ill check another source but dosnt look good yet

Im going to start now for a while posting more pics as i get them done i will update the thread on the top posts then later i will answer more questions

thanks
mike
