Here is a great link on cold frames and min greenhouses. Lots of great info on what to do to use them successfully.

Interesting reading.... Now you have me wondering if I could possibly carry Rosemary over in my zone if I put it into the coldframe. Food for thought.

Great link. I think that's who I buy my Univent Auto Vents from that I use on my cold frames. My cold frames are home made 4x8 with double walled polycarbonate lids. I don't know about keeping rosemary in them all winter, but I do know I can keep the Arp variety of rosemary alive by growing it up against the south side of my house.

I'm probably zone 5. I usually see -20 F in the winter and we don't get hardly any snow cover. But I'm sure it's several zones warmer in the micro climate up against the house.
