The Whitinger household is huge into planners (well, some of us are Whistling )
Abigail (who has a big interest in art and digital design) and I have been floating the idea of creating a downloadable planner for NGA. It can be A5 or A4 size, so you can print it for your ring or disc-bound planners. We would have the standard monthly, weekly and yearly pages, along with some garden specific pages.

Would you have an interest in this if Abigail were to create one? Would you be willing to pay $10 for it?
I'm all ears!

Hurray for Abigail. Hurray!
I am old school and like having a binder full of stuff that I can refer to...even reading by candlelight when the power goes out. Yes, I would be happy to pay $10 for the privilege. Thumbs up

Three cheers for Abigail... Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I think that's a great idea, especially if it had areas for noting daily high and low temps, as well as humidity. I currently just use a spiral notebook, but it would be awesome to have a garden planner. I'd love daily pages so that I can journal about what's happening in my garden.

Oh, Abigail...
I totally forgot to put in a plug for the excellent school here in Savannah, Georgia. My older daughter graduated (Summa cum laude) from SCAD - Savannah College of Art and Design.
Most graduates are successful in their chosen field and many are recruited by companies even before they graduate...just in case you ever want to attend school away from home. Whistling

Me too me too!
Before the age of digital everything, for Christmas my sister gave me a 5" thick three-ring-binder with a commercial garden planner. It was printed on thick paper, so did not tear out from the rings. I still use the organizer, had to replace the binder a few years ago, and I have added lots of pages. One of my most useful pages (now 3 pages) is called "THINGS THAT DIED" I refer to it all the time, I update it once a year or so, try to explain why I think it died (generally, neglectful watering). Another is "THINGS THAT SEEM RELIABLE" . Anyway, I learned early on to buy really thick paper for it, otherwise the pages tear out, and regular paper is too flimsy to have in a multi-year book that I sometimes use while wearing garden gloves. You might consider alerting people to do that. I also found it works best if I buy the most expensive binder, they have rings shaped so it is easier to turn pages.

Any chance we can get a sneak peek at the format or would that just open up a whole new can of worms?

Pistil- good point. I have paper that I only use for my planner- perfect for printing both sides. I'll make sure to give recommendations. Have you tried the disc-bound systems? I'm completely in love with them! I use a hardbound journal for my personal planner, but the ARC for business.

I'm afraid not....Abigail and I are all too aware that planners are a very very personal thing, and we will not be able to please everyone. We've done our best to come out with a layout for monthly and weekly spreads (along with some fun additions) that we hope will please the majority of our users. Thumbs up I'm sure we'll have lots of suggestions for next year, but in order to push through for our first year, we'll just be showing a sample when it is ready so you can see it before you purchase.

Thanks Trish-
I just Googled disc-bound notebook, up popped the Levenger company, I looked at theirs first. I used to buy top quality planners and stuff from them, every thing I bought was perfect. I think I might buy their Circa hole puncher, they have one that does more sheets, for a few $ more.
