Somehow it does look familiar to me, maybe I have seen it in flower shops but I have no clue what it can be.
It grew on the bark of a tree in a rainforest, Paraty, Brazil.

LOL, I get so frustrated sometimes with plant names. I will stand and stare at a plant that I've known for years and draw a blank as to the name! I call it "Old Age" but you're a lot younger than me Lee Anne so I think your's was just a minor memory lapse. Green Grin!

Sorry for the late reply! I was thrown back to the Middle Ages with candle light. I had no electricity in the whole house by an electricity shortcut that got resolved now! Rolling my eyes.
Thank you all for the helpful hint, it could be well related to the Jewel Orchid indeed, it must have been that plant I once had long ago that reminded me of it! I can do a further search with that! Smiling
