Howdy all,
Been working on resizing photos of older iris for database. Googled them
to double check on correctness of identification. The pics on google didn't look like my
named plant.

This one I bought years ago as Wine and Roses. Does anyone know if the name
is correct. Don't want to put any in the database that is an incorrect image. Plus
I have some to add that have no photo representing them as yet.

Do not think this is correct as the on line checklist states "S rose-pink; F violet-purple edged rose-pink" and your picture looks like it has white standards

Been looking all over the web for an ID for this plant.
No luck as yet.

Have had this for so many years and it is one hardy
and productive plant. Use to have hundreds, but
not many have survived.

This Iris was growing here when we bought the house 5 years ago. It originally came from the woman's mothers garden. I would love to know what it is so I dont keep calling it"Brill's" iris.They were the former owners.

Hey, I know Brill. He's my nephews. My nutty, now deceased sister in law couldn't remember Brian and Bills name half the time, so she called them Brill. Especially when she was upset.

John Brill owned this house. I cant explore his criminal activities on the net.Suffice to say his wife was a nice person and it really pained her to leave her mothers plants but they moved to florida.

One of the Brills here turned out not so good, too.

Its tough to deal withsomone so dishonest. He had been working for a mushroom company based in Canajoherie,lost his job but continued to spend as tho he had gotten a raise.
We had dunning calls for a year and someone came to sue him plus a car reposessor turned up and said he had reposessed the car 4 times in3 years.

My nervs just couldnt take activity like that.
I think the wife turned a blind eye to his activities.What else could she do they had 2 kids in college.
