Hi All!
I'm thinking about getting Iwanna Pirahna. I like the look of it but I'm trying to only buy things that will be good for hybridizing. So.......Does anybody have any experience with it as a parent?????? Will it set pod??, how is the pollen???, do the teeth carry into the kids??? Any and all info appreciated.

I do know that James Hall (mljomo) uses it a lot. He has used it both way, but I think more as a pollen parent. He has some keeper seedlings he's watching out of it. The ones he has kept do have the teeth. I'm sure it's like anything else, it's probably a 50/50 chance if using it on non-toothy daylilies if the teeth pass on. He kept it again for next season in his hybridizing area. I'm sure he got it when it came out and if he's kept it this long and is still using it then it must be a good parent. He gave me pollen for Kim to use this past season, but she never did so it's still in my freezer.

Trimmer and Stamile-Pierce have one out of it
