By gardengus

Twine is a good thing to keep handy in the garden or on the potting bench. A terracotta pot turned upside down will hold the twine and a pair of scissors or knife.

Cinda, I just love this tip. I am fore ever misplacing my twine. Maybe if I put it in a pot I would be able to easily find it. Thumbs up

Oh, I do like this idea! And you could have fun painting the pot, too!

Gymgirl found a great source for really strong waxed twine.

It's 9-ply, and you can unravel it to get really strong waxed thread. The wax is very "grippy", and sometimes I'll tie a little onto something to make a super-firm grip.
