Going to make a nice hot cup of tea and have some dinner and relax after that. Honestly, the stiffness and sorness is just part of getting old! I am not about to give up gardening so just have to put up with it.

I hear you, Rita. I spread compost today, hauling from the back of the back yard to the front yard. With temps in the mid 80s, I was ready to drop. But, at least it's done.

It takes a lot longer for me to mulch or put out compost than it used to years ago. But hey, I might be slower but I still get it all done! nodding Planting too. I am slower but it does get done eventually. nodding

I've had MS since Fall 1998. I have limitations because of it (heat, humidity, muggyness being slow doing things - gardening, getting worn out easily....).

Plus, as I've gotten older and having hills/slopes doesn't help either.

I'm sorry Marilyn, that stinks.

But I'm slow doing things, get worn out easily, and my only excuse is being old and out of shape. Smiling

I have a lot and I mean a lot of hummingbird attracting plants here myself. Many honeysuckle vines with both trumpet flowers and the regular glowers. Five butterfly bushes which attract not only butterflies but hummingbirds as well. Many Hummingbird Mints (Agastaches) from High Country Gardens. And the hummers just LOVE those! Then I plant annual Salvias, another favorite of the hummingbirds here. And lets not forget the four o'clocks. Hummingbirds love four o'clocks.
