I have tiny dafs blooming where there were none last year. I had forgotten they used to come up there. The winter rains must have jump started them to pop up again. We're having a few speinkles today, but more rain coming tonight and tomorrow. Bring it on!!!

Found this while looking for another photo. It's almost time to start haunting the nurseries (and big box stores for bargains). As I remember, all that cost $20. from Lowe's one April morning. None of it was drought resistant. Oh, for the good ole days! Who knew?

I grew the bottom of chopped off celery head on the window sill in some water to see if it would really grow. Kinda cute. Guess the resident rabbit will get it when I move it outside!

It froze here last night. The seeds I planted are surely toast by now. I've been saving them since Christmas.
