10 years ago i bought some Clivia seed from Nakamura the famous Japanese breeder http://homepage3.nifty.com/pla...
the seed were cross of C.minata x C. gardenii
most of them did not make it
one continued to survive but never looked like it would do anything so i put it to the back of the bench
it bloomed 2 weeks ago

I mean the green, Dick, but I guess it's more of a green tip than a stripe. It's lovely. Is there a botanical name for that sort of contrasting triangular tip?

not to my knowledge
green tip and green throat are the 2 terms used when the green shows up in Clivia
i think the prettiest is a yellow with green throat

Nice, time helps if we can leave our plants alone once in a while they will do fine.
Did you attempt to self or cross these blooms?

Yes, as in your OP.
I know that I would try to secure seeds from those blooms.
I don't do alot of dead-heading here.
