My succulents outdoors are in for a soggy beating with this onslaught of rainy winter weather Sad But we do need the rain!! The first one to be visibly hating it are the flapjacks..hoping it will survive this round!

Mine are all getting pretty dry, and we are suppose to have rain coming in tonight. Would rather them be watered by fresh rain than tap water, so have moved mine all out onto the banister. I'm hoping they'll love it. It's a warmer rain storm here, not a winter icey cold rain.

Yeah, we didn't get a drop of rain here the night I mentioned above. I was so disappointed. Would rather use rainwater every opportunity I get, than darn Chandler, AZ tap water.

I think I have one of these, I didn't know they get a big stalk like that, much like jade plant does. That is so kewl!!!

Here is a picture, is this the same plant?

I googled Fenestraria auriantica, and none of those plants look like mine, they are more gray white. Mine is a beautiful emerald green with red tips, and at the tip it is concave, collapsing inward. I did not see that on any of the pics of Fenestraria auriantica. If you look realy clsoe you can see the holes in the tips.

Could be a Gollum. Baby Toes won't make a stalk. They will just continue to spread out.

All the pictures I've seen of it, sure look just like my plant. I looked on Ebay, and found some with stalks. Mine is a small, small plant, so no, I do not think it has a stalk yet.

Ok, just went and brushed all the gravel aside, and there are actually two plants in there, each with it's own stalk. But a very short stalk so far Smiling

Yours is probably a Gollum then if that's what it looks like to you, and it will grow "up" via stalks as well as out. Baby toes just spreads out.

Alan, I think your Crassula is also the same as mine, Crassula Ovata Gollum or trumpet jade.

It used to look like this before I moved it to a different pot and location:

If it is in a shady area, it looks like this:
