Lots of people migrated from 'Winterpeg' to Vancouver when I was younger. I don't think hardly anyone lives there any more!

Someone described the climate there as "two seasons, winter and August, and in August there are flies".

There are lots of Canadians living in this part of Florida.

Ah Winnipeg will always have a soft spot in my heart..as frigid cold its winters can be...it adds to its own charm After all it was once a place I called home.

I moved my outdoor amaryllis container to another area in my little garden, and now that it is eye level, have noticed that this one is a scented amaryllis...lovely scent it has..no wonder the bumble bee likes it too I have also moved outdoors as well the indoor noid I have currently in bloom..

Goodness, that orange-y one is a lovely color. Is that the one with the fragrance, too?

Hi Elaine, the scented one is the one with the bumble bee..the orange one has no scent.

2nd noid bulb outdoors has started to bloom as well: I think this one will try to make 3 blooms Will see later if it has some scent.
