There's two types of bedding Lobelia, a trailing one for baskets and a bush one which can be used for baskets or either in the ground but the bush one is preferable for the ground.

Different colors too. The bright blue is a favorite.
Last year I bought Lavander and pink for containers.
My personal opinion is they both look white from my height.

OMG!!! I forgot all about this post! Thanks everyone for the ID. I wanted to grow this little beauty again but wasn't sure of the ID.

JoAnn, thanks for posting the pictures.....and I think I'll add those colors to my containers this yr. too.
