I hope you like Take Out! The Floral Alphabet Soup is such a treat, and the letter G is no exception with many interesting Grasses including Glyceria, and the ever beautiful Gladiolus, the Geums, some of which have already been shown, but also some things like Grindelia which I have only encountered in the field and have never Grown. And not to mention actual Garden Landscape photos are often exhibited in this letter when I have done this elsewhere, but I know this website has other places for those photographs, so I leave it all in your Good Hands. To start G's I am tossing these in the pot....
Grape Hyacinth, I am looking forward to seeing these soon:
Gaillardia Arizona Sun
Geranium x oxonianum Phoebe Noble (I never took Chemistry from Dr. Noble, but I was there when she was a teacher at UVIC: She once was interviewed about this plant and when the journalist said he had it in his garden she said..."Oh, that is too bad! I mow it with the lawnmower!" Or something like that, I just know she was right about its invasive nature, and I have mine corralled between the deck and the walkway around the upstairs pond. Its a testament to this plant that it grows untended in the drawdown zone of the Arrow Lakes Reservoir. And I did not put it there, btw.
Gate; this is now about 2 years old. It covers my Garden shed, which I may burden you with as well, photographically, later. (The photograph has been treated in a software program).
Please have fun in the Gs they are an amazing Group of Garden Soup Items.
