Paul, thanks so much for including the SDB's! I just love the yellows with those prominent beards in different colors. Have you seen Mid-America's new SDB's? FANTASTIC! Sure wish they would bloom for me!

Aruba, unfortunately when I was up in Salem in 2010, the year SUN SHINE IN was introduced, it rained the entire four days we were there and I only had one brief spell where it cleared up for about two hours -- and it was the two hours we were at Keith Keppel's, amazingly enough. But it had been raining all spring up there so the blooms were scarce and pretty waterlogged. The best I could do was a stalk shot -- with my sister's head in it, of course. But it is a real beauty! When I took the CITY OF GOLD clump shot at Mid-America the previous year it was in the mid-90's in Salem and they were definitely at their best, and probably several clumps planted close together at that. If you like more ruffled blooms then SUN SHINE IN might be perfect for you, but CITY OF GOLD has those great bitone colors which make it very striking. Now, of course, just speaking for myself -- I would get both!

Kent, did you manage to get a clump shot of SUN SHINE IN?

Nope, it was just starting to bloom when we were at Keppel's last year. I planted in my garden last summer, perhaps a clump shot will be possible this spring. I don't take many clump shots, though. It's hard to get a good one unless the clump is by itself.

Also, I spend most of the iris season on my knees studying individual blooms so that's the type of pictures I usually take as well.

Wow I really like Lost Treasure that is a beautiful flower the beards really glow on it, Thanks for the
Pics of Sun Shine In I will be adding that one to the list this year I really like the form and color of it for some reason I thought it was a smaller flower but from your picture it looks to be pretty wide and ruffled and a very unique color a must have this year.

Wonderful yellows, Paul! THAT'S ALL FOLKS was my favorite yellow for several years, until my SMART MONEY bloomed and I fell in love with it. And I was very impressed with Sutton's HIGHLIGHTER last year too -- and it was a bonus plant for me! Yellows are such wonderful standouts in the garden, aren't they?

You have shared some really nice yellows! One I like that hasn't been mentioned is Sofia (Blyth 02) and Little Sighs DWF (Sutton 08) My very favorite one is Zesting Lemons (Ernst 08) But I don't have a really good picture of that one.
