I have some 3 year old iris that are just creeping along. I read an article about companion plants for iris and the author suggested Columbines and mentioned the iris shouldnt be planted with dense ground cover.
Alas mine are being invaded with Creeping Jenny.
Any opinion as to how high I should let mu angst meter get before I move the iris?
Its impossible to clean the Jenny out.

Move any time you can and check the rhizome to make sure there is no rot (soft and mushy) and trim them out and treat with 10% bleach 90% water and let dry and then plant where ever there is not a ground cover to invade on top of the iris
