Jan, I have had Last Snowflake since the year it was introduced. I LOVE it. On another forum someone in Nova Scotia had wanted it for a long time. He finally got it and it did ok for him. He was though, disappointed in the fact that it did not have the wide edge for him. Probably the summer was not hot enough. For a long time it was my favorite in the garden. It is still a favorite because it is so hard to simply pick a single favorite. It is hard to beat, but if you want to make seeds, I have had no luck with that side of it. Look for it on the auction, it will be cheaper there. I sold some off mine a couple of years ago, I am letting it clump up again, so I don't want to sell any off mine for now. It is a moderate increaser.
I have taken more pictures of Last Snowflake than any other daylily in my garden. Here are some below. It is in a prominent place in my backyard, on top of an old tree stump.
As to answer the question as to what I want this year. I have a large order coming from Floyd Cove, 10 in fact, three coming from Dan Trimmer and three from Nicole Harry Devito. I am going to be buying lots more pots this year, since all mine are grown in pots. I get pots usually now about the 20 gallon size, and plant more than one in them. My soil is hard clay here.
