Sycamore has been my favorite tree since early childhood; I'm just really lucky to have a couple of these wonderful trees here on our property that are still young enough to get a good shot of leaves and bark together.

I'm not sure where it is at the moment, but I have a photo of a leaf from one of the mature trees in the woods that's easily eighteen inches across! They made great *fairy hats* during outside playtime when I was just a tad bit younger than I am now. Ah, the memories! Lovey dubby
