Below is a section that broke off my Euphorbia lactea crests as I was turning it around to take it's picture. I put in my gritty mix and so far nothing. It must take a lone time to root. It is always sold grafted to other stock. It shoud be able to ge it's own plant. Any way, its up to trade out. That is if it ever roots.

Alan, where did you get your variegated whatchamacallit? They used to have a bunch of 'em up at Green Goddess.... I think it was on Bell? East of 51. They are great looking plants.

Hetty,
Really, I still owe you. It is on it's way. BTW, do you have a variegated crown of thorns?
Also do you by chance know what kind of lily I found growing in Clearwater, Fl. It has white flowers almost like a African Amaryllis. Any way, i have 4 seedlings of it. They should grow great where you are.

Home Repo! We have one store down here, that has a garden manager, who really knows her stuff. Anytime she can get nice specimen plants in she does. It's the Home Depot on Ocotillo and Arizona Avenue. Really a neat lady, love talking to her when I go in and visit.

Alan,
Have you grown cactus from seed befor? I got some seeds back in Nov. 2011 and boy are they slow growing. My grass grows twice as large as them and in the winter yet. Below is a picture. I did post this befor. Somewhere? I love the spiral on the ones you ordered. My mother plant has some spiraling in it. Can you send me a pack of seeds if possible. I have no clue what to do with them. I just had to try to see if I could do something like this.

Yes, I remember when you posted that. I have never grown cactus from seed, but it's never to late to try Smiling I believe living in a hot climate, this is the best place you could grow cactus from seed. So we will see and give progress reports on what happens. Smiling

Stush - you are too kind. I really don't think you owe me.

Yes I have a variegated Crown of Thorns.

And the Lily is a Crinum Lily, I have several large clumps of them, the dark red variety gets to be 6 ft tall! They bloom year round here. I am just selling a few offsets locally here tomorrow, mine are getting HUGE!

As rare as it is Sheryl, and having only ordered 10 seeds, I'm hoping there will be some to share, but make no guarantees, especially since this will be my first time from seed Smiling

Alan,
Sorry to have stepped all over your thread. We just can't stop talking (typing). Rolling on the floor laughing Hilarious!
Hetty, What am I to do with those seeds of Crinum Lily. The seeds were about the size of a golf ball. I thru into a small pot and it sproted. Too cold here in my zone 6. Too large for a house plant. Was hoping you would take them.
