My pot ghetto has been re-established and my toad is back!!

I found s/he hunkered down in a pot yesterday eve. But that plant is struggling so I had to evict Toad. Saw him/her this morning just hanging around. So I took a deep pie tin and filled it with damp soil. I placed it on the ground in the pot ghetto. Hopefully that will become the new residence.

I wonder how long toads live. I wonder if this is the same toad from last year.

Now I am REALLY jealous!!!

I've put out 2 appropriate toad shelters, over divets, within range of the sprinkler this year. Please ask your toad to send toady wishes my way!

Well I'm feeling invaded! Came home and found a big dug out spot in one of my seed bins. Thought it was a squirrel. Pushed the dirt back in the hole. The seeds in that corner will be a write off

Went to check on my babies before bed. This is what I found


Poor thing has been stuck up in this bin on the table for three days when I moved it off the ground. I escorted it to a new location in a flower bed. Darn thing hollowed out quite a large area under my seedlings
