Just discovered their new introductions, posted under "2012 - Summer." And I really love BUSY BEING BLUE! They don't have the prices in their general listing yet, but I think it's mostly updated with the daylilies they will be carrying.

I have been trying to copy the website address here, but it just seems to take me to a Yahoo page whenever I try it. So anyone interested should maybe just search on Maryott's Daylily Gardens if you don't already have the website in your Favorites.

Beautiful!! I guess my favorites are: Coming Alive and Bogota

I'll definitely be ordering from them later this year. I've got 40+ pots of their plants growing from last Fall. Their service is totally awesome. Bonus plants were a couple of their 2011 intros along with a few of their earlier intros. So, they will be getting more of my business. It was the biggest order I ever gotten. Fantastic!

Blessings, Mona

Maryott's will be the death of me! I can't wait to get to their site and plan my first order. I have two more rooms to vacuum first or else they will NOT get vacuumed. Say GOOD-BYE to some our daylilies here. Your spot is needed! I will get all our new ones from Maryott in September, so I have time to decide which ones to move out.

I spent the early part of the evening making a list now that prices are up. Now to find some $ and whittle it down a bit. I'm trying to decide if I can justify 60.00 on Sultry Spanish Eyes, I've wanted it since last year. Whistling

Well, I am down to 13... then added 3 more...... Whistling still need to cut. But now I need to do more research - and figure out which ones will survive up here ~Jan

edited to add: I LOVE that the ATP database has zones listed on many of the cultivars - makes things much easier for me

BBB is simply stunning. I would add it to my list except I have been told that most blues do not do so well up north. I will let others "evaluate" it's cold hardiness and wait a few years on it - but it will go on my "want list.

I also love a bunch more of their intros- all those bold colored ones.... I want. Can't have - but I do want. Perhaps in a few years ~Jan

Yes, BBB is a beautiful daylily. It will have to wait until next year, UNLESS he happens to list it as a weekly special. I doubt that he will because BBB will probably be one of his best sellers of his 2012 intros. I have gone through Maryott's site and have a list. David still has to check out their listings before we finalize our list. We will save some back to add (if still available) as Bill adds his weekly specials throughout the summer. Some on my list are ones that we already have and really like. The prices are too good to pass up. Crazy, isn't it?

I have 38 on my list!!! Needless to say that's not going to happen. I think I will try to keep my early order down to around $100 and then when he does his sales, I'll get some of the others. He does really good sales!!! I wonder if Bill ever looks at these sites to see what we addicts have to say about him. One thing is for sure, I haven't heard anything bad.

Good luck to all of you. I hope you can get the ones that you want. If I do manage to get my list down to size, I'll post what they are.

Blessings to all, Mona

Has anybody in the north tried Strikingly Dramatic ? I see that one in the data base does not have a hardiness zone listed. I hesitate to spend a bunch of money on a flower that might not do well up here. I have been known to stretch zones before, but need to refrain myself.

Jan, I suggest you email him and ask about it. It might take him a little while to get back to you right now because he's just gotten his website up, but I'm sure he will let you know. He sent it to me as a bonus plant, but it hasn't bloomed yet -- can't wait to see it!
