I don't think I can do that because of the varieties of ways it can be expressed.

1' is 1 foot.

but

21' is 21 feet.

3' is 3 feet.

I don't think I can so easily script this without making it look bad in several places. I think it would be preferable to have 21' rather than an accidental 21 foot.

I haven't seen any metric but I mostly work in the daylily database. Maybe some from Canada have been doing entries and naturally do metric?

All of Europe works in metric, plus other countries.

I am one of those using metric as I was raised with it and have difficulty thinking in feet and inches!

Whoops, that's right, of course now I remember Myriam's entries.

All of my entries were in inches and feet.
