Polly found their new website, after I'd spent literally days getting this "Down For Maintenance" notice on the one I had in my Favorites. And the website address seems to be the same -- can't figure it out. Anyway, THANKS POLLY!

I just placed my Napa Country order through their website. This is the first year I haven't sent it in by snail mail, and voila -- it's already done and confirmed! Now I wonder why I didn't do it this way years ago!

For their new introductions I ordered the Introduction Special Collection I, where you can pick any three introductions for $115.00. I picked GOLDEN GAGA, TEASING TIGER and UNDER THE BOARDWALK. I loved the parentage of UNDER THE BOARDWALK when I saw it: RAINY RIVER X LOUISA'S SONG.

Also, if anyone is interested, they have some gorgeous confections under "New Seedlings."

Thanks Betty,

I probably won't order anything my beds are so full, but I love to look. By the way I uploaded some iris pictures today of some intermediates I have had for yeawrs and still LOVE them. They aren't posted yet though. If you have some intermediates, maybe we could trade some this year. I don't buy them much anymore because they mostly don't do well here unless we have a lot of cold. I love Keppells intermediates and have tried many of his. I only have a couple of his that do well for me, they just die off due to too much heat and not enough cold. If you give me your email, I could send you some pictures of what I have.

Tom Burseen named one for me years ago. I'm going to upload it after breakfast."Dorothy Parker", here it is.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. I have ordered from Napairis before and they send great irises. One thing I love about their site is you can do a hybridizer search and all they have of that hybridizer will come up.

OK thanks a lot, now I have to order lol. I will make room for four. I have to replace Gitano anyway. Plus I need Secret Rites, Original Art and Comedy.

Counting spaces does put a damper on new irises. I can order 4 TBs this year & that is a crowd. Perhaps I can move some SDBs around & have more room for new dwarfs.

Dot, I have pretty much the same problem with intermediates, and especially with SDBs. It just doesn't get cold enough here for them to keep blooming each year -- bummer! I tried for years and have given up on them very reluctantly over the last couple of years. And in fact I've noticed that many of the TBs from colder climates don't seem to do so well for me either, and the plants that are actually grown here in California do the best for me. That won't stop me from trying new introductions from up north, of course, but I am slowly getting a little wiser. I'm concentrating now on TBs, although now what I'm REALLY concentrating on is daylilies!

I think that intermediate named for you is really pretty, by the way. And what an honor to have an iris named after you -- that's terrific!

Some of Paul Black's IBs like Alberta Clipper are 48c so it might do all right for you.
