Hi everyone, thought I'd post this in the area that would get as many eyes as possible.

I'll be out of touch for a bit - although I will still be planting perennials, I'll be doing it back in the desert Southwest. My husband and I have decided to move back to Phoenix.

If any of you are shopping for any plants, I have a thread on the co-op forum called "moving sale" - I'm just trying to cut my losses on some of the co-ops I've ordered plants on. Poppies, intersectional peonies for a really great price.... etc.

So, if you see me, wave, okay!

Sheryl best of luck with move , hope you will be back on soon. Also that you will be able to take some of your special plants with you if they can survive out there.

Thank you - I really don't think I'll be able to take much.

Hey Bob, if those Athenas make it, do you want them?

I don't know if 50/50 is good, SBob. If my husband ever threatened to take me back to Nashville I would hang him. Country gal here.

It's such a big busy city. That's the kind of country vs city I mean. We're population 600 here. With acreage.

True. I hear people complain all the time about having to drive in Nashville (pop. >1.5 million and growing). Compared to a lot of areas where we were out in CA, driving in Nashville is a piece of cake. Green Grin! It is growing by leaps and bounds though. That's why I like it where we are in Middle TN much better.

Tennessee is a beautiful state. I just didn't like the city.

Do you go there often, Tee?

DH goes to Vanderbilt Medical Center so we are there at least a few times a year. Surgery for him last year necessitated a few more trips.

They have a great Home and Garden Show in N'ville, but I didn't make it this year. Phooey. Sad

I think it's next week, Tee. Maybe?

And, of course, there's the Herb Sale at the fairgrounds - that is a zoo, but a lot of fun and they often have some unusual stuff.

Saturday, April 21st. I think the doors open at 9, but people get there hours ahead of time and the line snakes throughout the parking lot. Talking to people in line is almost as much fun as getting the plants.
