Remember this plant, when I first put it in the office?

Thumb of 2012-02-21/GardenGuyAZ/18e1bc

Well, it's doing very well in the office, with bright light. It is in bloom almost non-stop, seems happier than you can possibly imagine. Everyone stops by and see's it through the door and compliments me on my houseplants in the office, and are amazed. Wanna know something? I am amazed too. I cannot grow a houseplant at home worth squat!!! Here is how much it has grown.

Lee Ann, now I am wondering what to do once it reaches the bottom of the overhead. See how close it is to the light? Can I chop it off on the top? And of course re-root the top?

Just to clarify ssgardener, both Episcia are in the pink pot. The pot to the left of that is a hoya, whose name eludes me right now. I think the common name is sweetheart hoya. Because the leaves are shaped like hearts.

Great Growing Alan! I haven't grown Episcia's in awhile but keep thinking I should get one or two or, your plants are gorgeous!

The other plant in your photo looks more like Hoya obovata : Wax Plant (Hoya obovata)

For comparison, here are some photo's of the "Sweetheart Hoya", Hoya kerrii: Sweetheart Hoya (Hoya kerrii)

You should add your great photo's to the database! Here's the link for Episcia's: http://garden.org/plants/brows...
