The Cherokee County Master Gardeners (my group) are having their Spring plant sale in Jacksonville on April 14th. I don't know how many of ya'll are near Jacksonville but if you'd like to come to the sale, I bet you'd like it! Trish and I will be there selling plants along with the other master gardeners, and our plant sales are usually quite large.

If anybody would like to do an East Texas get-together some weekend this Spring, I would certainly enjoy that. I bet we could get a pretty decent handful together and have some nice plant swapping.

A few of us from this part of the state would travel east for a swap. I think Mibus was talking about putting one together where they've been before ( the overlook?). I can't remember what her name is on ATP.

Don't know where you are located, Maggiedew, but there's a plant swap in San Antonio on April 14th that I'm probably going to attend.

There will also be a plant swap on April 21st in Manchaca if that interests you.

Linda - where in San Antonio? I might be interested in that!

And Sandi, if you do make the east Texas one, can I tag along with y'all?

Well, hi stranger! If not enough room, maybe we can caravan! Depends on which weekend too. I have a newsletter to get out and the garden festival to work.

Caravaning sounds like fun!

I'm catching up with some much-needed gardening. I hurt all over, but I've moved about 10 yards of dirt in the past few days. The front of the house is looking pretty impressive. Smiling

LOL! Right now all you'd see is a big pile of dirt. I've still got about five yards to move and I need to put down the fabric and some crushed stone to help with drainage. It's a big 'ol mess right now.

Carey, now that I'm getting over the bug I had, I looked up where that swap is. It's at Rogiers Park, a small neighborhood park on the NW side of San Antonio. 209 Pleasant Drive. If you need any directions, let me know.

Our North Central Texas swap is April 28th in Burleson,
I don't think I will be able to make it to Denton, I am sure I will be pooped, maybe next year we can coordinate the dates so we can make both. Smiling

It varies from year to year. Not a lot of people. I'm just guessing...maybe 20, more or less.
