Really, which ones did you get.? Mamajack had Monarda citriodora as well as the Raspberry and PR. After doing a look-back I found that I did get one of each but she might not make the quota. I just have a feeling she will cancel one of these. Sad

I ordered mine along with an order from a nursery here in TN. I'll tell you, I can't keep up with all these co-ops. That's probably a good thing when I think about it. Hilarious!

My new 'Ivory Prince' Hellebore is blooming. Got my hellebores from Mamajack. Nice plants. Thumbs up

I missed out on the hellebores from Mamajack's because I had already ordered from somewhere else by the time I figured out how to get to her website. Rolling on the floor laughing

What a gorgeous photo! Thumbs up I planted half a dozen of those Primulas along the edge of the bog garden that went through a total transformation last year. I can't wait to see how they're going to look this spring. I'm hoping they'll fill the whole curve in that area in a few years!

Dang it! I looked at that photo link above, and realized I just weeded out my primulas. Grumbling I should have marked them....

Wow my hostas are coming up! Thumbs up

These are the bare root hosta's I got from T&T coop, Sue Taynor had these for 2.25 and It was one of the first plants I received. Got two of these Saga's and three 'Fire and Ice' also she threw in a free Sunpower for referring someone. Green Grin!
I soaked them in rainwater overnight and potted them all up the next day. They were good size roots too!

Yes they are tough. Also my little Gold Standard I got from Bluestone is sprouting! Talk about tough, this hosta blew off the porch and was dry as a bone when I finally found it. I thought it was dead. If I order from them again, I will just re-pot right away because they dry out real fast in the coco pots.

I am surprised that I have not gotten my Helleborus. I ordered them jan.02. from Santa Rosa Gardens. Seems like I get spring plants in winter and winter plants in the spring. Sad Just saying, I guess you are supposed to plant them in spring.

No, sure didn't. Sad Just was hoping to have something blooming by now, I did check the website and they say april, 2. Sad
I was unclear about the' Helleborus Facts' at the time, also hind-site-is-20/20. If I had it to do over I would specify but I really don't know how big these plants are, what if they are too young to bloom. Also I didn't know it would be this warm, normally the ground would be frozen. If I had gone to a local garden center I could probably have bought plants with buds in my area at about the same price and I would have been looking at flowers instead of the mailbox. Hilarious!

virginiarose said:I received my order from High Country Gardens, yesterday(02-23-12) and I have:

Caryopteris clandonensis 'Dark Knight'---8.49
Asclepias Tuberosa-orange butterfly weed---8.49
shipping--9.99
total---26.97

I do not understand how this could be a deciduous shrub, there is no stems and it just looks like a seedling. I expected something bigger and I am not sure why, I ordered this November 27, 2011, and if I had planted a seed that very day I would expect to have this, but I thought I was purchasing a plant, plant. Blinking
The butterfly weed is more like it, these pots are three inches wide but six inches deep, I don't know why they needed such a big pot, If they say three inch or four inch, don't you kinda expect it to be full of roots or almost full. This is a pot of fresh dirt and a freshly planted plant. I am disappointed to say the least, mainly with the shrub which is one inch tall. Glare

Virginia,

Caryopteris clandonensis 'Dark Knight' is a late Summer - Fall bloomer. That's probably why it looks so small. I've bought many plants (and many times a yr) from HCG since Spring 2005 and I've always been happy with them.

I wouldn't be too worried about a Bluebeard (Caryopteris). If you get ANY green, it'll survive. I've got over 30 of them here & there throughout my yard and they're the hardiest things I've ever seen! They can survive ANYTHING! Seriously! I started with one teeny one from a $1 pot at Home Depot back in '08 and now they're competing against my roses on taking over my yard! And they're easy to propagate, too.. I've accidentally started new ones by transplanting one & leaving some of the roots back in the original hole. Next spring I had a new plant!
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...

Marilyn I agree No problem, I am not trying to ditch them, they are going to get good feedback. I saw this little shrub on one of the forums and I just had to have it. HCC was the only one that had it. I didn't know it was a fall plant, they sent it to me in February. I do not really know if it might have came from another supplier that they might use. I was just wondering why were they in such a hurry to mail me a plant that was not established a little better. So I simply asked them in a polite email and showed him the picture. They did not offer any explanation but asked me if I wanted a refund or a bigger plant latter in the spring and I said yes a bigger plant. The baby is doing fine and sure will be looking forward to two of these, might get a different color off mamajacks. Hurray!

Thanks for the tip Toni, I really think I am going to like this shrub once it takes off and I would like to root more of them too.

Thanks for the reminder Marilyn, I need to go leave them some feed back, I am sure everything will be fine.
