Garden Tours: goldfinch4, Chris Rentmeister

By Sharon
February 25, 2012

It's exciting to look at beautiful gardens in the middle of winter. For our first tour of the new season we're taking you to Wisconsin to see the gardens of Chris Rentmeister. Her creative touch can be seen not only in the color combination of blooms, but also in the interesting garden art she shares with us. You're going to love what you see!

Oh my, that is really lovely! And your artwork is just wonderful! And, sigh, now I'm really wishing I'd gone ahead and got a Niobe off chefmike's co-op. Smiling

Vic, I love waking up in the morning and going out into all that color to see what is new every day. I can't help but being happy.

Woofie, clematis are great because of the height they add in a garden, and also because I can cover my ugly chain link fence with them. Hilarious! One can never have too many flowers!

Thank you Lynn. Gardens are a never ending process, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yes, Sharon does such a great job with our garden tours! Group hug

Glad you enjoyed it Becky. Foliage is beautiful, and I do grow plants specifically for that reason, but I really have a weakness for gorgeous flowers. I have a few other gardens too that I didn't include in the tour because I didn't have any overall picture of those individual gardens.

I took the quick tour, but plan to come back to really study some of your garden areas. it's all quite stunning. You certainly have a gift for color combinations. I just love all the beautiful colors! I remember seeing some of the pics in postings, but putting them together as a walking tour is special. I will be back to take a peek more than once as I revamp my own garden. Lovely!

Hi Brenda, thanks! I think you got a lot more snow than we did this year though.
