Looks similar to the Blackberry Lily but the color seems more pink.

Thanks. The flower does look similar but it seems to me as if the leaves are different. I will ask a photo of the plant to upload as well.

Aw, Hetty, you're well-educated in plants the way it is and we learn a lot from you. Thumbs up I luv those and I'd be surprised is that isn't a Blackberry "Lily" (which is not a true lily). If not, it's sure a dead ringer.

This is a blackberry lily the leaves look like iris (same family)
It has a curious habit of coiling up the flower petals when done blooming (you can see in the background of this photo)
Some people call the other colored ones candy lilies.

this is a toad lily

Ooooh, I think Lin has nailed it. Check out this picture:

Oops, wait. Found that picture by going to a link to Belamcanda chinensis on that page Lin posted.

Aha! That Pardancanda is a hybrid from the Belamcanda chinensis. Copied this off the site Lin posted:
"This Park introduction is a cross between Pardanthopsis and Belamcanda.
Belamcanda chinensis is a wildflower from china that looks almost identical but the new cross has a much larger color range.
Foliage looks like the leaves of Iris but is less sturdy "
So, is the original posting a wildflower, or would it more likely be the hybrid?

From what I can see of Pardancanda norrisii the alternate petals are much smaller, and the shape of them is more pointed.

http://www.thegardengeeks.com/...

I found one the same which somebody asks if it's Iris domestica rosea, there was no reply. Iris domestica is now the correct name for Belamcanda chinensis, the Plant List doesn't recognise 'rosea'.

http://www.hort.net/lists/iris...

http://www.theplantlist.org/tp...

There's a few different name varieties of Iris domestica but nothing on the RHS which fits, that doesn't mean it's not a variety of Iris domestica.

http://apps.rhs.org.uk/rhsplan...

many have been bred to have yellow, pink and purple varieties
