I'd have to sit NEXT to that chair, not on it, just so I could look at the artwork!

Hmmm....maybe I could cut a circle in a chair like that and put a potted plant in it, seein' as how I can't paint well and all. :>)J

Great job, Sharon!

I think it's better that you paint it. If you "grow" it, your audience is limited. But painting it and posting it for us let's the whole world view your talent!

This chair is unbelievable. It bears no resemblance to the original. You have done well, my friend!!

I painted one once, an old one that the cane bottom was already shredded and nearly gone. I painted it light blue and put violets on it. Gave it to my uncle and he put a huge pot of purple impatiens in it. Pretty cool. It sat in the shade of his covered patio. Somewhere I guess I have a picture.

Glad you like it.
Thanks.

Awwww you can sit on my chairs anytime, Pegi. I don't think sitting will bother them one bit.
Unless maybe your behind is covered in sandpaper or something!

I'm glad you like the blogs. Winter around here gets a little boring. Big Grin

All your chairs are absolutely amazing, Sharon. What will you do with them? Keep them? Sell them? Presents, maybe?

Hi Larry,
I dunno. You need an orange chair up there??

Over the years I've painted a lot of chairs, a few tables too. Most of the time I sell them, sometimes I gift them, and even if I try to keep one or two, they don't seem to stay here very long. They tend to find homes elsewhere.

I'll let you know what happens to these two.
If you're ever traveling down in this direction, you might find one going home with you.
Thanks Larry.

That's mighty tempting. Maybe when all our plants are in the ground and the pots situated.
