Most of my gardens are color themed

This was last years project the "berm", but still a work in progress I have a couple things on order to plant this spring
the colors are chartreuse, reddish purple and hot pink
I have Weigela 'Ghost' and 'Spilled Wine', Cercis 'Ruby Falls', Dwarf Golden Threadbrach Cypress, sand cherry, Japanese Maple, Hosta 'Stained Glass', Heuchera 'Midnight Rose', Black Mondo Grass, Allium, a bunch of daylilies, crocus, Reticulated Iris, Tulips, and echinacea
all mulched and trenched and ready to go for this year

Please do. That looks great, Jennifer. I'm working on berms this year as well, permaculture and otherwise, so it was nice to see yours. Too much Bermuda grass to dig planting holes in the back. Thumbs down Gonna cover it up.

They dumped it on the otherside of the yard for me, but didn't shape it because I hadn't decided how I wanted it, but should have had them do it, talk about back breaking work...that was A LOT of dirt!!!

This is my blue/yellow and white garden
1st week April last year, I had to surround it with bamboo to keep my dog out
Thumb of 2012-03-26/flowersrjen/90d832
here it is starting to wake up more by the end of the month

I am such a planner I wanted something white, blue and yellow blooming at the same time so I made a chart of each season and what flowers for each color should be blooming...of course it never works out exactly right, so I'm always adding some new ones to fill in empty spots
this combo actually worked Hurray! favorite white Itsaul white dianthus, with coreopsis and catanache
