I found their FB page, the current issue is available until end of May.
"Both magazines (Flea Market Gardening & Vintage Style) are available in the US and Canada. You can find them at bookstores such as Barnes & Noble, at grocery stores that sell magazines, Lowe's, Home Depot, Target, WalMart, and Sam's Club. Usually available at WalMart for a discounted price. If you can't find them, you can call the publisher to order a single copy directly. Contact Ian Miller 212-462-9624."

Yes, I found that their website could only be accessed through Facebook, so I couldn't get there. It wasn't at Target, WalMart, or Home Depot. I looked in those three places.

Thanks, Zuzu and Sue !
This magazine eludes me at the moment. They sent me some complimentary copies and I've looked in all the above mentioned places and have yet to see it down here anywhere.
One of their photographers contacted the organizer of our local garden tour last year inquiring if they could see assorted gardens as potential subjects for the magazine. They called me and asked if they could come and look so I said yes. They came a few days later and spent the day taking pictures and were very nice. (This was in mid May of 2011)
After all was said and done they said someone would contact me around the first of this year for an "interview" for the text of the article. That never happened and in February they told me they'd be sending me copies of the magazine. My name isn't in it, but that's fine. My garden isn't the "main feature" of the issue so maybe that's why.
Anyway, it's kinda cool just the same !
This publication only comes out once a year and this is only the the 2nd issue.

The OTHER people from our tour had their garden in Romantic Homes Magazine (another publication from the same co.) Their home is very "high end" so it was a perfect fit. Mine on the other hand is just loaded with alley finds and recycled junk...so it makes sense that it's in "Flea Market" gardens. In other words, the difference between theirs and mine is: "from the sublime to the ridiculous" ! (respectively !)

Holy crap is it WINDY!! I felt like I was gonna be blown into Wyoming it's so windy out there! March winds are one thing but this is ridiculous! At this rate, I'll get to meet joannabanana the hard way.. Being blown all the way to Canada! And DRY!! This wind has sucked any moisture we DID have and now the soil is dry as a bone. You'd think it's mid August as dry as it is. There was already two grass fires in my city.. I hope this not going to be the trend this year. Sad

I'd much rather be featured in Flea Market Gardening than Romantic Homes. That would be so hard to live up to!

I just came back in as I spent most of the afternoon prunning and cleaning up in the garden. It did warm up some from when I first stuck my nose outside so it turned out to be milder than I expected. The daffodils are really putting on a show in my yard right now and the tulips are growing. So while I was doing stuff there were lovely and cheerful looking daffs all over the place to look at. I just love my daffs!

You're welcome Sue. Nice to See ATP on pinterest.

So is everyone else having as warm and early a spring as we're having here in the east? It's going to hit 84 degrees on Thursday! After such a mild winter, I'm not surprised by the early spring. But I hope it doesn't mean a red hot summer is on the way.

Mike: What are you doing posting right now? You're supposed to be moving that mountain of mulch !!!

In answer to your question, YES. Everything is way ahead of schedule and blooming about 6 weeks too early here. We had 50 mph winds all weekend that wreaked havoc on my garden. Those winds would have spread that mulch for you in 5 minutes or less.

After eating dirt yesterday with the horrendous winds, they've finally died down this morning. 9News states that they were gusting between 50-60mph constantly & I haven't seen wind like that in YEARS. The entire city of Denver was completed covered in a nasty dust storm like something out of a movie. Couldn't see more than a few blocks, trucks were being blown over, huge grassfire out on the eastern plains. That wind sucked! I feel bad for Cindi - she's probably got my horrible winds now! But I did some cleaning in my daylily bed yesterday (stupid me) and my Tradescantias (concord grape, Sweet kate, & Blueberry Sunday) are all about 3-4" tall already. My agastaches are all sprouting, I've got hyacinths about 2" from planting them last year, tulips are about 3-4" above ground, almost all my miniature roses in the minibed are leafing out (that survived.. I think I lost 2-3 from last year's plantings from Burling Sad ). A couple of my trees are thinking about leafing out (crabapples) but I think I lost a maple & a crabapple due to sunscorching (our altitude here kills trees w/o protection). I'm just worried about some of the roses I got Cliff - they tried to leaf out already and got zapped by a few cold cold nights. But they should be OK, they're still under their 2-6" of mulch. *cross fingers*

Mike, I actually took the morning off to work on that mountain of mulch! I'm making progress... good thing I can use most of it, but I'm sure I'll have some left over!

Speaking of mountains, the mountains here got a fresh dumping of snow, which is good 'cuz we desperately need it. At the rate we're going, this is going to be another bad drought year, which is what we DON'T need, with all the fires already this year! But our snowpack is like only at 70%, not good not good. http://www.denverpost.com/port...

It's a bit chilly today. For the past 10+ days it's been in the 60s & 70s & we have shattered a lot of old-standing record highs. However, Sunday blew in that extreme cold front from Canada due to a low in NM (it's raining in NM & TX! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! ) and we here in the metro can always smell the difference from a cold front from Canada & a warm front from Mexico even if the ambient temperature's the same.. if it smells like cows & dairies, it's from the north! That's because in N.Colorado there's a LOT of feedyards/dairies and the smell doesn't carry unless it comes on a storm. Yesterday I don't think the high got to above 45degs and today's not much better.. supposed to hit 54 but it's only in the mid 30s right now. But it's gonna shoot right back up into the 70s! Now if we could just get some rain... Crying

Toni, we got your rain here. Luckily I seeded my lawn before the rain started, and also got most of my iris cleaned up. I have just 1 rose bed left to prune, so I'm way ahead for the year.
I did not get all the leaves picked up, but at least they're not sitting on top of the iris anymore!
Now they are in big soggy piles, which actually will be easier to deal with. Can you imagine raking in that 40 mph wind? I tried...
IF I could force myself to eat dandelion greens, I wouldn't need to put in a vegetable garden this year because I've never seen such a huge crop of dandelions. I keep telling myself they improve the soil, and the bees love them. Lambsquarter and chickweed are abundant here too, and they are tasty.
I'm growing potatoes, and I don't know why. I bought a 10 pound bag the other day for 2.98. the 5 pound bags were 3.49, go figure. With all the trouble they are to grow, it seems silly.
The rain muddied my daffodils, but I took pics of all of them anyway. I brought in 1 of each that was blooming and I counted 64 in 3 vases. Here's some--and keep in mind some are past prime.

Hello all! Big Grin
Reporting in from the unfrozen north!Like may of you we've had VERY warm weather.
Seems more like June than March with day times highs in the 70's
and today it's suppose to be 85! CRAZY!
My FORTHYSIA is in bloom! and roses are starting to leaf out.
Also blooming...crocus, daffodils and violas.
No doubt we're still facing some cold weather andd hard frosts but I hope this
warm trend we've had all winter continues. Thumbs up
Praying the fruit farmers don't lose their crops to a hard frost this year.

Vicky - I understand whatcha mean about the unfrozen north. My father's back in NNY and it's amazing that he has no snow on the ground. Usually this time of year everything's a boggy mess due to snow melting & his side yard is usually a small lake. Nothing! This morning was chilly.. it got cold on Monday & today's the first day it's gonna warm up. Had a small bit of frost of my van (I didn't put it in the garage last night) and a bucket of snowmelt had a thin layer of ice on it this morning, but I'm running around in short sleeves & sandals (and pants of course!!!). This weekend it's supposed to be back in the upper 70s.. almost 80! Weird! But so dry.. we're getting desperate for moisture! Every time they predict rain/snow, nada. :(

When I got to work this morning, had some neighbors stop by.

Mike - if you run outta space to put your mulch, I'll take it! I have to remulch most of my yard anyways.. the winds blew away a lot of it and with the decaying.. I just have to put down another gazillion cubic yards again. Beh.
